About Sanjay
A second opinion you can keep for twenty years.
Sanjay Kumar Das has been working in financial services since 2003, and began distributing mutual funds independently in 2018. In this time he has built a small, carefully managed client base — a corporate client, registered societies and charitable trusts, and a number of HNI and retail investors who value a personal, disciplined approach over a large, transactional one.
He has guided clients through the 2008 financial crisis, the 2020 pandemic crash, and every ordinary, uneventful quarter in between — the ones that, added together, are where most disciplined returns are actually made. His approach stays unglamorous on purpose: understand the goal, choose funds that fit it, review on a fixed schedule, and resist the urge to react to headlines.
Today his practice remains deliberately small and personal — corporate, trust and individual relationships handled side by side, with every account still reviewed by him directly.
What I help with
Advice organised around your goals, not our products.
Every engagement starts with a goal and a timeline. The fund selection comes after — never the other way round.
SIP planning & review
Set up systematic investments sized to your income, and revisit them every year as your salary and goals change.
Goal-based investing
Child's education, a home down payment, a wedding — each goal gets its own plan, timeline and dedicated funds.
Tax-saving ELSS
Section 80C investing that also stays invested for growth, chosen with the shortest sensible lock-in in mind.
Retirement corpus planning
A working estimate of what you'll need, and a portfolio built to arrive there without panic-selling on the way.
Portfolio health check-ups
An honest, scheduled review of what you already hold — flagging overlap, drift, and funds you've outgrown.
Get in touch
Start with a conversation, not a sales pitch.
Write in, call, or drop by the office — whichever is easiest. First-time consultations are free and unhurried.
